Day Summary
Today the group splits — Eric & Courtney fly to Maui on AS 1040 to begin Week 2, while Lori departs on AS 234 back to Seattle. Denae & Joel Lassen join the Maui crew, arriving on AS 971 at 10:52 AM. After landing at Kahului, the group picks up two rental cars — an Avis minivan and a Budget electric (Tesla Model 3 or similar) — then heads straight to the legendary Mama's Fish House in Paia for a 1:30 PM lunch reservation. Then stock up at Costco Maui and a local grocery store before checking in to The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas on Ka'anapali Beach.
